Places to Visit

United Golf Resorts La Tercia is nestled amongst the orange groves between La Tercia and Balsicas. A 15 minute drive will take you to the coastal towns of San Javier and Los Alcazares where you will find beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.

There are endless beaches to visit along the Mar Menor and Costa Calida coastlines. The nearest are on the Mar Menor at Santiago de la Ribera, Lo Pagan and Playa Los Narejos (15 minutes drive). Further to the north, you will find Cap Roig, and to the south, the beaches between Cabo de Palos and Cartagena in the Calblanque National Park are some of the best in Spain.

A 25 minute drive through the mountains to the north-west brings you to the city of Murcia, where you can sit and relax at one of many cafes in the Plaza del Cardinal Belluga, which houses both the Cathedral and the Episcopal Palace. To the south is the city of Cartagena (also a 25 minute drive). If you want to visit further afield, the beautiful city of Granada, with the Alhambra Gardens, is a 3 hour drive, with Valencia located 2.5 hours drive to the north.

If you are travelling with children, as well as the beaches, there is lots to do, including the waterparks at Torrevieja, go-karting at La Manga, and bowling at the Centro Dos Mares.
